New Vacancies in 2012 at Oxford Science Studies | |||
ENTZ TEAM MEMBER Oxford Science Studies are looking for Entz team members to work on their educational courses, for students aged between 14-20. The Entz team is mainly responsible for the entertainment and safety of students after lessons and in the evening. They will help to ensure the evening entertainment is set up in a timely and well organised manner, in line with the course requirements. Staff will supervise students taking part in the activity, and are encouraged to participate themselves. They will also need to ensure students behave appropriately. Activities include bowling, cinema trips, dining out, sport, quizzes etc. Other jobs may include helping with the setting up and tidying up of courses, helping with student arrivals, booking activities and occasional day time tasks, such as helping at meal/break times. They will report to the Residential Manager. Depending on the specific task, team members may work on their own, or in a group of up to approx 8 staff. This role is part time, with hours mainly being worked in the evenings (approx 7-10.30pm) of the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays. Team members do not have to be available for all times. Members will have to hold a valid CRB, which the organisation will arrange and pay for. Entz team members will be self employed, and paid £7.50/hour. TUTORS Oxford Science Studies are continuously looking for new tutors to join our revision courses for students aged between 14-20. There are vacancies in all subjects that we offer. This role is for school holiday work, during Spring, Summer and Autumn half terms, Easter, Summer and Christmas/New Year holidays. The position is flexible so you do not have to work on every course. Tutors are required to tutor a small class, between 1 and 6 students, helping with their revision before their upcoming exams. We cater for GCSE/IGCSE/IB/A-Level and on the smaller courses we can also help with other exams such as UKCAT/BMAT/entrance exams etc. Tutors will report to the Course Director. Depending on which course, the hours are approximately 9am – 5pm and include some weekend/bank holidays if you wish. You will need to hold a valid CRB, which the organisation can arrange and pay for.
