A Level Revision Courses

Students revising for their exams

What A level courses do we frequently provide?

As noted on our Subjects Offered page we can cover a wide range of A level, AS level and International A level subjects for all exam boards. The following 14 subjects account for around 80% of all students.

  • Mathematics
  • Psychology
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • History
  • Sociology
  • Business-Studies
  • Physics
  • Economics
  • English-Literature
  • Geography
  • Political-Studies
  • Computing
  • Further Mathematics

The only real limit with the above subjects is with late bookings for busy courses where we may be limited by tutor availability at short notice.

What unusual A levels can we cover?

The following A level subjects account for the remaining 20%

  • Art & Design subjects*
  • Media / Film / TV Studies
  • Religious Studies
  • Law
  • English Language
  • Physical Education*
  • Design and Technology*
  • Drama*
  • Spanish
  • English Language & Literature
  • French
  • Classical subjects
  • Music
  • Other Modern Languages
  • German
  • Other sciences
  • Performing / Expressive Arts*

*These subjects we tend not to offer as either they require facilities we do not have access to (for example Design and Technology workshops) or they don’t really work with just one student (e.g. Drama). However, we could cover text-based aspects of something like Drama, so it’s always worth asking!

Within the last few years we have cover, for example: Media, Religious Studies, Classical Civilisation, Ancient History, Classical Greek, Latin, French, Spanish, German, Music, Law, Geology, etc.

Obviously, we cannot guarantee we can cover all subjects and options; however, please do contact us if you have any unusual subject requests. To my knowledge we have only been completely stumped twice in the last decade. Once we were given a week’s notice to find a tutor for Turkish A level and at another time 2 days to find a tutor for OCR History A level Paper Y302: The Viking Age c.790–1066. Given more notice we probably could have covered these.
