Easter Revision Courses

Course Details

Easter revision is arguably one of the most important dates in the calendar for GCSE, GCSE, IB and A Level students. As revision course specialists, running such courses for over 25 years, we understand the importance of getting the right help at the right time.  Our Easter Revision Course gives students the chance to receive expert tuition and exam practice, in a well-balanced and supportive learning environment.

"She said that this was one of her best holiday weeks. The teaching she said was just simply amazing, on another level. I can’t thank you guys enough, not only did she enjoy and understand chemistry but she felt that she was part of a unique group of students all with the same purpose."

The Timetable

Please see the below example timetable, demonstrating a one week revision course.  Students may select three subjects/papers per week.

Please note, availability is now limited for Business, Computer Science, Economics, Politics, Latin, Maths and Physics.

Our trusted teach and test method allows students to review subject content, working through troubling areas with our expert tutors, then putting their learning into practice via exam style questions during the independent exam practice.  This method allows students to confirm their understanding, identify any other trouble areas ahead of the exams, and gain experience answering the type of questions that will feature in the exam.  This all happens in an environment that provides them with support and feedback, aiming to build their confidence.  This course gives students that ‘exam hall’ experience, helping to prepare them for what’s to come.  Some students find this experience particularly useful, in overcoming exam hall anxiety.

We believe that a 50 minute tutorial is optimum for concentration and our timetable provides sufficient breaks to ensure that students remain refreshed, throughout the day and ready for learning.  Following the course, our expert tutors complete detailed feedback reports, which may include key pieces of guidance for the final run up to the exams.

For residential students, our Easter Revision Course also includes an Evening Entertainment Programme.  Complete with extracurricular activities to allow students the opportunity to have some relaxation time, as well as to work on personal development, interacting with new people and building friendships.

Locally known as ‘Teddies’, our course location of St Edward’s School is a co-educational independent boarding school.  The school has vast tuition space and several boarding houses all set in 110 acres of its own grounds.  St Edward’s offers a real campus feel and is a great place to host our academic study and Evening Entertainment Programme.
