Subject Choices

As our name suggests, we originated as science specialists, but over the years we have expanded to offer most of the common school subjects. The number of subjects offered varies slightly from course to course. Generally, it takes between one and two days to revise one A Level paper or one subject at GCSE/IGCSE or IB.

For example, a student enrolling for a week at Easter may take three A Level subjects/papers, or three GCSE/IGCSE or IB subjects. Our courses are tailor made to accommodate the individual requirements of each student. A Level students can therefore select their chosen paper/topic, and may combine AS and linear papers as required. Below is a list of common school subjects offered. Other subjects may be available and can be requested on our online application form at the time of booking.

Biology Business Studies Chemistry Classical Civilisation Economics
English Language English Literature French Geography German
History History of Art Latin Maths Physics
Politics Psychology Religious Studies Sociology Spanish

For students studying the newly reformed Maths A Level, released in September 2017, we offer a number of classes.  Further information on the topics included in each of these classes can be found here

Number of Subjects per Course

During our Easter and Summer holiday courses, students can book one, two or three weeks of revision. The total number of subjects that can be covered per week is shown below. A Level students can select a combination of papers from one or more subjects. IB students may select a combination of Standard and Higher level subjects. Please note that the 'Combined Science' (double award) should be considered as three separate subjects which may be taken individually, and that English Language and English Literature should be counted as two subjects.
