They will discuss how to tackle the questions that arise. This could include going through question by question in detail, to give a thorough understanding of what is required to do well. If relevant, this may also include focus on problem solving, verbal reasoning and critical thinking.
Our tutors will provide students with an understanding of what will be expected of them and what usually happens on the day. They will discuss potential questions, as well as suggesting why the interviewer(s) might ask a particular question, and what they are looking for the student to demonstrate. Better understanding what is being asked, and why, can best focus the response.
Tutors will often give an idea of key academic topics and concepts. This helps students to ensure thorough preparation and solid understanding in these areas.
The tutor will aim to conduct practice interview(s). This could include providing the student with challenging articles to read, or questions to answer, and reviewing these together, learning and understanding how best to go about these.
